About Me

I am a Ph.D. student at Georgia State University.  My research and publication interests are Greek, Roman, and Renaissance rhetoric and Renaissance literary studies.  In 2005, I read Edmund Spenser's The Faerie Queene, perhaps the most impressive piece of epideictic rhetoric in the form of a Epic Romance in honor of Elizabeth I.  My eyes were opened to Spenser's under-appreciated genius, and I began my academic pursuits in the area of Spenser studies.
I live in a rural/suburban area in Georgia with my wonderfully supportive and ever-encouraging husband and our "kids" Boko (cat), Bronson, and Hershey (lab mixes).
